Testimonials

“I joined South Park Fitness recently and absolutely love it. They have a military discount, and no contract. The staff is super friendly and everyone seems to know each other and want to help. While the gym is small, it has everything you need to get in a good workout, and then some. There’s also a little outdoor yard area in the back, which is nice for getting a lift in on a sunny day. They have several treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes. There is one squat rack, one smith machine, and one bench press, and then multiple benches throughout the gym for other uses. There’s actually a ton of other stuff too, but those are the major essentials I look for when finding a new gym! I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a chill small gym with really good staff. As an added perk, sometimes there are dogs there to pet :)”

My boyfriend and I have been going to this gym for the past few months since we moved to South Park, and we love it! The owner, Rob, is super nice and the gym has all the equipment we could need. The gym is in a renovated fire station and has really cool paintings on the walls. Additionally, there’s an outdoor space to do workouts, which is my favorite part of the gym. Everyone at the gym is really nice and considerate, always putting their weights away, wiping off equipment, and just generally being friendly. Lastly, we get free sweat towels every time we work out!

The best review I can give this gym is that I’ve been a member here for 11 months now, and not only am I still a member, but I continue to work out at the gym 4+ times a week!  How many new gym members (let alone new year-resolution-makers) can say that?! I’m still very happy with this neighborhood gym and my experiences here. Gym upkeep and service is excellent- in the past year I’ve seen them do quite a bit of work (including replacing some large mirrors and painting/touching up the bathrooms).  The best part of this gym by far though, is that I continue to see all the employees greeting everyone by name. I hope this gem of a gym sticks around for a long time to come.

South Park Fitness has renewed my love for gyms and working out. It’s not too crowded, the people are nice, the space is clean and unique and the management is awesome. As a former collegiate coach I have a high set of standards for strength and conditioning facilities and what equipment should and should not be in a gym taking up space. South Park Fitness is small but very well organized, offering impressive options for its size.

Yes, it’s close to my house which makes it extra appealing but that aside I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a “gym”  and not a “health club”, this is not that.

Rob the owner genuinely cares about the members of his gym and that’s quite obvious once you join. Rob and staff don’t just treat you like a membership holder, they treat you like a human being. The support I’m getting in my personal journey of health and fitness from Rob and staff is amazing. It truly keeps me going back and keeps me from giving up! The gym is kept super clean and has everything I need! It is literally the BEST gym I ever joined hands down.

Been working out at South Park Fitness for 2 years and I love the place. The owner is great. The people that go there are very considerate and friendly. The space is big and open, and while it’s not a huge place, they have everything you need for a great workout. They have added some free classes and I attend two a week. I have a trainer her name is Kaylene Victorio and she’s the best. She runs the free stretch class for people over 50.
